Who We Are
We are photographers, cinematographers, and strategic storytellers who pride ourselves on constructing compelling and visually stunning narratives that prioritize nuanced, holistic perspectives, and human dignity.
We are based in the Homalco and Wei Wai Kum Nation territories of the Discovery Islands.
Meet the Team
Tavish Campbell
Tavish grew up in the Discovery Islands and has been engaged in conservation and environmental justice work since childhood. His relationship with the British Columbia coast developed from a life spent as a professional mariner, commercial diver, wilderness guide and evolved into a deep commitment to advocate for its protection. Specializing in the underwater world, Tavish’s images and investigative stories have brought the plight of wild salmon and other B.C. issues to the front pages of mainstream media, capturing millions of views and international attention.
Deirdre Leowinata
With an academic foundation in science and a strong technical skillset in film, Deirdre pairs stunning visuals with deep personal narratives to create knowledge-based stories that stir empathy and amplify the voices of underrepresented ecosystems, organisms, and communities. Deirdre’s varied background includes blue chip natural history series,music videos,independent shorts, to IMAXfilms andscripted features, and she brings aspects of each of these pieces to her work as a creative in the environmental space. Deirdre is a DCB commercial diver, an AIDA 2 freediver.
